Blog interrupted

BEEEEEEEP.......James can't come to the blog right now, he's busy playing Burn Out on our Xbox 360 video game system.  He's got the game almost beat and will return to blogging after he's won.  He better get in all the video game playing he can cause in less than a week, he's back in school.

Not much to write about tonight, I recently purchased a small digital camera for Bailey to use.  It's a little cheap stick camera that looks like a cyclops Spongebob.  She got all excited when I took it out of the box and started in with "My Bob Bob, My Bob Bob".  It's pretty cute and takes so-so pictures but what do you expect for $20, so I really don't mind letting the two year run off with it taking pictures.
I also started a knitting blog of my own to showcase some of my work and struggles with my new hobby, enjoy.

Christmas Day

Christmas day finally arrived and Bailey was happy. This was the first year she got into the handing out and unwrapping of the presents. She got lots of toys, puzzles, games and clothes from everyone. Me-Me got a pair of chiefs slippers from Bailey but she decided to try them on for herself.

Santa couldn't fit all the gifts under the tree for Bailey this year and left one very special gift out in Me-Me & Papa's garage.
Of course we needed a new jeep of our own to carry all her presents back in.

Brrrr.......

It's a whopping 7 degrees here today!

Today was the BBQ lunch at Embarq which James was suppling the ribs to his fellow co-workers. I was busy at work covering several desks when my phone rings and it's James telling me that the grill cover is frozen to the grill. After coming up with several ideas, the big bowl of luke warm water did the trick and the day was saved for my husband co-workers.

Our weekend consisted of home repair and it involved someone having to go into the attic to fix a pipe. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but our house really doesn't have a good entry into the attic. The only known opening is in the pantry and Bailey is the only one that could fit through that hole. Since I wasn't up to sending my 2 year old into the attic, we turn to the attic fan which is a much bigger hole for the guys to fit through. After a few hours later, James and my dad (he played supervisor) had fixed the pipe and the heat could come back on.

I forgot to take any pictures of the fixed pipe (for some reason James didn't want to go back into the attic to prove he actually did some home repair) or of Bailey this weekend so I will fill the void with an old photo of Bailey that I on my computer here at work. Here's Bailey with her Papa wrapped around her little finger. Enjoy!

We're still here.

Hello again, sorry it's been a bit since the last entry but it is the season to be busy. James has finals this week and I'm managing to put off most of the Christmas shopping till the last minute like always.

For now, here are some photos of Bailey's Halloween costume from my office party for trick or treaters. Enjoy.
